When there is a communications alarm on the fire alarm panel in the 5200 Dry Warehouse and Johnson Controls alerts the plant of this condition do the following.  


The Cox Bill is attached to this article.  It has the particulars about this circuit.  


1.  Call 757-369-6500 and report the outage to Cox.  The phone numbers are 757-586-5371, 757-782-4553, and 757-782-4568.  Johnson controls should be able to tell you which line is erroring out.  If not, no issue.  Have Cox check status.


2.   Reset the Cox modem.   They're going to ask you to do it, so may as well do it before they ask.  If you're looking at the fire panel in 5200 it will be to your left and behind you about 100 or so feet down the wall on a the board.  It's black, basically a normal Cox Cable TV modem.  The connections at the panel has a green Cat6 cable that leads to where the modem is as well.  (see image below)
